I collaborated with Liverpudlian fashion designer Steven Stokey-Daley and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain on the S.S. Daley London Fashion week debut as part of the British Fashion Council’s NewGen showcase, in partnership with TikTok at the Old Selfridges Hotel.
Client: S.S.Daley Director: Paul Roseby
Photography: Helen Murray

The Old Selfridges Hotel hosted the show, and the venue's LED screens were used throughout to reflect the mood and action of the performance. Under Steven's direction, I created various looping video textures that reflected the show's subtext, energy and themes in a way that didn't distract from the performance.

The show was devised by NYT Artistic Director Paul Roseby with 10 male-identifying members of the NYT company aged 18-25, who spent 10 days exploring their experiences at school and themes of masculinity, intimacy, privilege and race.

The short theatre piece animated S.S. Daley’s Spring Summer 2022 Menswear Collection, designed by Steven Stokey-Daley and featured musical direction by Naomi Hammerton, movement by Leo Meredith and Tali Bowers, intimacy coordination from Louise Kempton and assistant direction from Shakira Newton.
