The empty buildings of the City of London become monuments to a fallen system in this short film inspired by the 1981 film Koyaanisqatsi.
Shot on a camcorder in the spring of 2010, the footage captures the unusual stillness and emptiness of the City in the early hours of the weekend - a place still reeling from the 2008 financial crash and on the cusp of a period of aggressive change.
Philip Glass's iconic score from the 'Pruit Igoe' sequence of Koyaanisqatsi remains the backbone of the piece - its drama and relentlessness contrasted with the silent power of the City's skyscrapers.
